Aunjanue Ellis Partners With The McComb School District's Fine Arts Department To Sponsor Summer Film Camp At Summit Elementary
McComb School District Fine Arts Coordinator, Mrs. Clinnesha Sibley leads the way by ensuring scholars demonstrate understanding through an art form and engage in a creative process that connects an art form and a traditional subject area.
The short film, "Moonflowers", uses plant science to tell a story of a scholar's difference and growth.
McComb School District Scholars enjoyed writing their own script during the school year and producing it during film camp.
Scholars learned all areas of filmmaking including the roles of an actor/actress, set designer, props master, graphic designer, boom operator, camera operator, and more to produce their film. They will also receive movie credits for participating in these roles.
Pictured are scenes shot at Summit Elementary School and Broma's Deli.
Stay Tuned for the premier of "Moonflowers" debuting in October!
