McComb School District’s Child Nutrition Department is administered through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), the Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) and the local School Board. It is federally funded and includes the National School Breakfast Program (NSBP) as well as the National School Lunch Program
(NSLP). Comprehensive regulations must be adhered to in order to receive federal funding.

McComb School District is participating in the Community Eligibility Provisions (CEP) for the school year 2025-26. All enrolled students of the district will receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at no charge. If your child does bring his/her lunch to school and wants milk, it is available for 50¢ per carton. The food service department serves
teachers, staff and visiting parents who would like to purchase an adult meal. Please see meal pricing tab for adult meals cost.

The Child Nutrition Department's mission has always been and still is to provide balanced nutritious meals to students every day. We understand that good nutrition helps to bridge the gap for academic success. Studies have shown that a well-nourished student is generally more focused in the classroom.
