McComb School District Child Nutrition Department's mission is to provide the highest quality meals possible each and every day. With 6 kitchens and over 30 dedicated employees, the Child Nutrition Department serves over 450,000 lunches and 308,000 breakfasts annually.

McComb School District Child Nutrition Department is administered through the United States Department of Agriculture, the Mississippi Department of Education and the local School Board. Comprehensive regulations must be adhered to in order to receive federal funding.

McComb School District is participating in the Community Eligibility Provisions (CEP) for School Year 2023-2024. All enrolled students of McComb School District are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge. Please note, any extra food purchases will come with a price, regardless of a student's status. If your child brings his/her lunch to school and wants milk, it is available for 50¢.

Nutrition is the main "ingredient" of learning and the McComb School District is proud to participate in the program to ensure the nutritional needs of our scholars are fulfilled; enabling our scholars to attain their greatest potential.

Please encourage your child(ren) to eat a healthy breakfast every day. Studies show that breakfast boost energy, helps improve a student's concentration, helps a student get better grades, and helps maintain a healthy weight; and it tastes great!! Breakfast is available every morning at all schools until the bell rings for the start of the school day.
