General Information

The district provides SchoolSatus which is an app that allows for communication between administrators and parents/guardians or between teachers and parents/guardians. Administrators and teachers will use this app to call or text parents and guardians, who may then respond to texts, keeping the lines of communication open. 

 

Teachers will be utilizing Zoom to present virtual instruction. A Zoom link and telephone number will be sent to parents and guardians through SchoolStatus. The link will also be available in the scholar's Google Classroom account. Scholars that do not have a username yet or do not have access to an Internet connection will call in using the telephone number provided with the link to join the class.

 

The Zoom link will also be used to track daily attendance when the scholar either logs in online or calls in using the phone number provided.

 

All parents and guardians have an ActiveParent account that is utilized for online registration. However, ActiveParent provides valuable information other than being just a registration portal. Please check your ActiveParent account regularly to find information such as your scholar's attendance, schedule, grades, and homework. 

 

All secondary students, grades 7-12, have an ActiveStudent account. Scholars may access their account to view their schedules and grades. ActiveStudent will be available to scholars around the second week of school.
